The start of an n8n workflow: a weekly trigger, an API token, a vendor report request and a polling loop
The start of the weekly run in n8n: get a token, request the vendor report, then poll until it’s ready.

What it gathers

Shipped revenue, cost of goods, units and returns from the Selling Partner API. Ad sales, spend, impressions, clicks, orders and cost per click from the Ads API. Best seller rank and reviews from Jungle Scout.

What it does with it

Child ASINs roll up into their parents. The numbers are written into a sheet the team already uses, weekly and monthly account views plus 21 product tabs, by updating the rows whose dates are already there. A formatted email report goes out each week.

One stubborn detail

Vendor reports arrive GZIP-compressed, so the workflow carries its own DEFLATE decoder written in plain JavaScript, with no libraries.
